General Information


Parents are welcome in the center any time.
Full Time Programs are available for all ages 6 weeks old - 12 years old.
Half Day Preschool Program is offered 2-3 days a week in the am hours for 3, 4 & 5 year olds.

Center Hours

Both Centers are open Monday - Friday from 5:30 am - 6:30 pm. This is your spot to come and go as you please, we staff the entire time for your child.
Want to schedule a tour? We set aside time at 10 am for tours, just drop by. If 10 am does not work for your schedule, call us, we would love to schedule a time that works for you.

Parent Handbook

Each family will receive a parent handbook upon enrolling in our program. Each parent handbook will include information about our program; philosophy, mission, hours/days, staff. Enrollment information with initial fees, late-non-discount fees, grievance policy, termination/withdrawal. Curriculum overview. Guidance policy for all age groups. Program Policies, outside play, transportation, attendance, pick up procedures, birthday parties, naps, emergency plans. Meals and snacks. Parent involvement, communication, supplies, newsletters, volunteering and donating. Health care and emergencies, immunizations, ill children, exclusion policy, parent notification of illness, medication policy, emergencies, serious injury/illness. This handbook is available in 3 publications; Infant/Toddler, Preschool and School Age.

Meals and Snacks

Breakfast, Lunch and 2 Snacks are offered daily and are included in your weekly tuition. We have a full time cook who prepares, serves and cleans after meals and snacks, which means our teachers only focus is on your child.

Administration

Our Administration is fully trained and qualified. Our top priority is to ensure the health and safety of all the children in our care. Administration will oversee any and all behavior of the children and staff above safety expectation. Our centers are administrated with Directors who are certified with a National Administrator Credential (NAC) issued by the National Child Care Association, with many hours of continuing education classes and conferences.

Staff Qualifications

Each staff member is trained prior to caring for the children. Training programs are provided by the State of Utah and by in-house specialists. The Kids Park participates in the State of Utah Career Ladder Program. Our staff is directly supervising the children at all times, including when they are sleeping, using the bathroom, in a group activity, on the playground and on any off-site activities.

The Kids Park employs about 110 staff members from our community. The Kids Park teachers are chosen based on professionalism, experience and training. If your child's teacher is sick, no need for back up care, we have plenty of substitutes on staff to fill in that have experience with your child. All Staff including; Director, Assistant Director, Employee and volunteer have been specifically trained, have cleared a background check and are familiar with all the children in our care.

Enrollment is based on availability. This application does not guarantee acceptance. Waiting list applications are considered in the order in which received.


Fee Schedule

Registration Fee: $35.00 per child. This is a non-refundable deposit and must be paid before starting date. Fees are paid on a flat rate system (flat rate means weekly rates are to be paid regardless of attendance).
The Kids Park is on a pre-paid policy. Payment must be made by Friday before the week and no later that Monday evening at closing. You always start the week with a credit. A $15 discount will be applied each week if the payment is made by Monday at close. No refund for illness, absences, or holidays. The Kids Park does not provide services on an hourly or part time basis. We do not offer drop in care.

Newsletter & Curriculum Calendar

A monthly newsletter and curriculum calendar will be sent home keeping you informed of upcoming events. Please look over these and ask your child what they learned that day with the calendar as your trigger words.

Security of Children

Parents have peace of mind in our safety and security of the children in our care. Kids Park has security video surveillance and a keyless entry door code system providing building security by allowing only authorized persons to access the children's areas.
Only those listed on the emergency form may take a child from the center. Please advise anyone, even those on your list, that they need to bring picture identification. If the name is not on the emergency form, a phone verification must be made with the parent. We will not release a child to anyone without this verification.

Confidentiality

The Kids Park has a Confidential Policy. We will not release any information concerning employees, children at the center, parents of children, or children who have withdrawn from the center without permission. This includes class lists for birthday parties or play dates.
